The conclusion of the 2009-2010 year is now upon us.
The July 21st general meeting should be a short one, and will be followed by the 2010 AGM.
I extend to everybody in the club an invitation to consider taking on a position in the committee. The time and effort involved is minimal, and the rewards can be great.
To all of our newer members, after you have had a chance to get to know us and to see what we currently do and how we do it, you may also like to consider putting in a bid for a committee position. A new viewpoint and new abilities are always a welcome addition to our committee.
It is a wonderful way to get to know the club members well, and gain a sense of achievement by doing things as well as you can for the benefit of the other club members.
